We have our own compounding & molding facilities for these products with the latest available technology. We have fully equipped in house test lab for testing of Raw material & components for physical, mechanical and electrical properties as per American Standard (ASTM). Our products have time and again passed 50 KA and 80 KA faults level for 1 & 3 seconds, at CPRI India, ASTA, UK/Australia & ACAE, Italy.

Vijay Optica started in 1953 as Wadles Ltd., on Moi Avenue, Mombasa, in the Fontanella Restaurant Arcade. The name changed to Lens Ltd., after a few years. It was then bought by East African Optical and the name changed to East African Optical Ltd. It was in March 1969 that Mr. Vijay Dhutia (current Director) bought the business and changed the name to Vijay Optica.
