The Paris MOU consists of 18 participating maritime Administrations and covers the waters of the European coastal States and the North Atlantic basin from North America to Europe. The Paris MOU aims at eliminating the operation of sub-standard ships through a harmonized system of port State control.
An Enterprise Agency of the State of Mississippi and is governed by the Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development and the Mississippi State Port Authority Board of Port Commissioners. It serves as one of the import and export gateways in the Southeast.
